  • Who can sign up for RepublicOnline?

    Any individual (18 years or older) or business who has an existing account (savings, chequing, loan, credit card) with Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited.

  • How can I register?

    Visit www.republicbarbados.com/ibsignup and follow the instructions. Be sure to read the Republic Internet Banking Terms of Usage.

  • What type of transactions can I perform using RepublicOnline?

    RepublicOnline is the secure and convenient way to:

    • View account balances and transaction history
    • Transfer funds between Republic Bank accounts, self-linked and third party
    • Pay utility bills and credit cards

    Additional services include:

    • Automated alerts - email and SMS, e.g. you could choose to be notified of any RepublicOnline transactions or changes to your personal profile.
    • Addition/Deletion of accounts registered on RepublicOnline.
    • 24-hour Call Centre
    • Stop cheques
  • What bills can I currently pay via RepublicOnline?

    You can pay:

  • Are there any fees associated with RepublicOnline?

    Currently, this service is offered to customers free of charge. However, the normal fees associated with the products e.g. deposit accounts, credit cards, etc. will be applicable.

  • Can I change my Password?

    You can change your Password at any time after you log on to RepublicOnline.

    If you forget your passwords, please click on the “Forgot Your Password” link on the login page and complete the automated reset form. This allows you to reset your passwords using the security question answers.

  • Can I view the transaction history for all of my accounts through RepublicOnline? How far back?

    Yes. You can view up to six (6) months of transactions on your accounts and your last three (3) credit card statements.

  • When I review my transaction history, I notice that some transactions that I have recently completed do not appear. Why is this?

    It is possible that credit and debit transactions done at a point of sale merchant or ABM may not appear if these transactions have not yet been settled by the merchant or processed by the Bank. However, you can view the credit card transactions by selecting “Authorised and not posted”.

  • How long will it take to process a bill payment made via RepublicOnline?

    First you must register each payee by selecting “Payments > Register Payee” and follow the simple instructions. The funds will be debited from your account at the time you submit your request for processing. You should however make your payment at least five (5) working days before the actual payment due date to ensure timely credit by the utility/service company.

  • How long will it take to process a funds transfer?

    Transfers between Republic Bank accounts occur in real-time and the funds will be available immediately.

  • Can I transfer funds from my Republic Bank account to another bank account via RepublicOnline?

    Yes, you can transfer funds to other local banks using the “Bill Payments” option. First, you must register each payee by selecting “Payments > Register Payee” and follow the simple instructions. Funds are available by the end of the day for transfers completed by 2:00pm.

  • Are there any limits to the number and value of transactions that I can perform?

    There are no limits to the number of transactions you can perform on RepublicOnline, subject to any restrictions that may be applicable in the Terms and Conditions for the relevant account.

    You may make cumulative account transfers daily on RepublicOnline as follows:

    • Self (normal and recurring transfers) from a minimum of BDS$1.00 to an unlimited maximum;
    • 3rd party (all) – minimum of BDS$1.00 to a maximum of BDS$30,000 (personal) or BDS$250,000 (business)

    You may make payments as follows:

    • Minimum of BDS$1.00 to a maximum of BDS$30,000 (personal) or BDS$250,000 (business)

    Please note: You can only pay up to the outstanding balance on your credit card.

  • How do I disable/delete my online banking profile?

    To disable or delete your online banking profile, instructions should be sent via email to internetbanking@republicbarbados.com with the following details:
